OLEFA 9 will be the most important update in the history of OLEFA, offering a new and even easier to use interface that will further improve your productivity as well as a completely redesigned system core that will make OLEFA 9 faster, more stable and even more secure than all previous releases.

OLEFA 9 will be available as a free upgrade for all existing OLEFA 8 customers.

Highlight features include:

System core Improved user interface and new themes for the administration panel. Faster system core and framework (OSA runs under MOD-PERL).

Database management New options for multiple image import and automatic image conversion. Ideal for creating large image archives. Improved possibility to add comments to image sections. (Allows for example to annotate the persons figuring on a photography.) Possibility to import MARK/ISBD information from library catalogues, such as the "Bibliothèque nationale de Luxembourg" and the "Library of Congress".

Wiki Element anchors avoid unnecessary scrolling after saving or selecting a specific element. New options for index elements and automatic navigation buttons. New parameters are available when defining links with square brackets. New WYSIWYG features are available, such as find & replace, custom characters and immediate printing of the active element.
